Multi Super-Speciality Hospital | Oncology | Advanced Surgical & Critical Care

 

Dr.Jaswant Singh Parmar Super Speciality Hospital is an ongoing comprehensive tertiary-care facility designed to integrate oncology, nuclear medicine, emergency care, advanced diagnostics, cardiology, gastroenterology, women and child care, nephrology, surgical services and critical care within a vertically organised hospital framework.

AMRD’s planning approach focuses on creating strong clinical adjacencies between highly specialised departments while maintaining clear functional zoning for outpatient, diagnostic, treatment, critical-care and inpatient services. Special emphasis is placed on the seamless integration of radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, chemotherapy, multiple ICU categories, Cath Lab facilities and a large surgical complex, ensuring an efficient and coordinated patient-care ecosystem.

The project has a total built-up area of 19,400 sqm and accommodates 224 beds, structured to support high-intensity tertiary healthcare delivery.

The basement is dedicated to advanced oncology and nuclear medicine services. It houses the Radiation Oncology Department with a dedicated bunker, oncology OPDs, procedure rooms, and pre- and post-treatment areas. The Nuclear Medicine Department includes PET-CT, Hot Lab, administrative areas, and pre- and post-administration spaces, supported by its own OPD, reception, waiting areas, and a VIP lounge.

The ground floor functions as the primary public and emergency interface, organised around a double-height entrance lobby with reception and waiting areas. It includes Emergency, Radiology, Pharmacy, Executive Health Check-up OPDs, Orthopaedic OPDs, and Neurology OPDs, ensuring efficient access to high-footfall diagnostic and outpatient services.

The first floor is organised into specialised OPD clusters, with dedicated zones for Oncology, Gastroenterology, and Cardiology, each supported by attached procedure rooms. This level also accommodates the Chemotherapy Department with wards and isolation rooms, along with sample collection facilities and multiple reception and waiting areas.

The second floor integrates women and child care, endoscopy, nephrology, and inpatient services. The Gynaecology Department includes a delivery suite, labour room, Gynaecology OT, pre- and post-operative recovery areas, and CSSD. The Endoscopy Department comprises two endoscopy rooms, recovery areas, and manometry services, while Urology, Nephrology, and Paediatric OPDs are supported by wards, sharing rooms, private rooms, a NICU, and a dialysis ward.

The third floor forms the hospital’s core surgical and critical-care hub, comprising an OT complex with six operation theatres, Cath Lab facilities, dedicated OT and Cath Lab recovery areas, a 15-bed SICU, 10-bed HDU, 14-bed MICU, and 5-bed CCU.

The fourth floor accommodates supporting ICU, OT, and essential hospital service areas.

The fifth and sixth floors are dedicated to inpatient care, comprising general wards, sharing rooms, and private rooms, designed to provide a quieter healing environment away from the high-intensity clinical zones below.

The project is defined by its highly integrated super-speciality planning approach, bringing together radiation oncology, PET-CT nuclear medicine, chemotherapy, maternity and neonatal care, dialysis, endoscopy, cardiac intervention, six operation theatres, and extensive critical-care facilities within a single coordinated hospital system. The spatial organisation ensures a clear progression from public and diagnostic services to specialised treatment, surgery, critical care, and inpatient recovery.
