Orthopaedic Speciality Clinic | Foot & Ankle Surgery | Arthroscopy

Located in Surat, Gujarat, this is an ongoing 6-bed orthopaedic speciality clinic with an approximate built-up area of 300 sq.m. The facility is being developed for Dr.Vihal Patel, an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in foot and ankle surgery and arthroscopy. The clinic is designed to function as a compact, high-efficiency centre offering consultation, diagnostics, minor procedures, surgical intervention and short-stay inpatient care within a streamlined clinical environment.

The primary objective of the project is to establish a focused orthopaedic centre dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of complex foot, ankle and musculoskeletal conditions, integrating clinical expertise with patient-centric care delivery.

AMRD’s planning approach emphasises clear functional zoning and efficient adjacency between consultation, diagnostics, procedure areas, operation theatre and recovery spaces. The facility includes reception and waiting areas, two OPDs, pharmacy, procedure room, X-ray unit, operation theatre, shared patient rooms and private rooms.

The spatial organisation ensures smooth patient flow from consultation to imaging, followed by procedures, surgery and post-operative recovery, while maintaining privacy, infection control and operational efficiency. Despite its compact footprint, the clinic is structured to support a complete orthopaedic care cycle, particularly for foot and ankle surgery, arthroscopy and short-duration inpatient management.
