Located in Surat, Gujarat, the Excellent Arthroscopy & ENT Hospital, completed in 2025, is an 11-bed speciality hospital developed for Dr.Mitesh Patel within an approximate built-up area of 485sq.m. The entire hospital is organised on a single floor, integrating Orthopaedic and ENT consultation, diagnostics, minor and major procedures, surgical care and inpatient accommodation within a compact and efficient clinical environment.

AMRD’s planning approach focuses on maximum functional efficiency within a constrained floor plate, ensuring close spatial relationships between OPDs, procedure areas, operation theatres and patient rooms. The facility includes reception and waiting areas, dedicated ENT and Orthopaedic OPDs, a procedure room with portable X-ray provision, separate Orthopaedic and ENT operation theatres, doctors’ lounge, and a mix of shared and private patient rooms.

The design establishes a clear and streamlined patient flow, progressing from consultation and diagnosis to procedures, surgery and recovery, while maintaining strict functional coordination between surgical and support spaces within the limited footprint. The planning demonstrates how a 426 sq.m. single-floor facility can effectively support a focused 9-bed speciality hospital, delivering essential outpatient, operative and inpatient services in an integrated manner.
