Multispecialty Hospital | Surgical, Critical Care & Cardiac Services

Located in Veraval, Gujarat, SIMS Hospital is an ongoing multispeciality hospital project for Dr. Dinesh Barad, planned over approximately 2,400 sq.m. The development is designed to integrate emergency care, diagnostics, outpatient services, dialysis, critical care, surgery, cardiac intervention and inpatient accommodation within a compact, vertically organised hospital framework.

AMRD’s planning approach focuses on clear functional zoning and efficient vertical circulation between high-footfall public areas, inpatient zones and specialised treatment departments. The hospital is currently being developed as a 63-bed facility, with an emphasis on optimising capacity while maintaining operational clarity and patient flow efficiency.

The ground floor accommodates high-access clinical services including Emergency, Radiology consisting of CT and Pharmacy, ensuring immediate response capability and diagnostic support at entry level.

The first floor forms the primary outpatient and critical-care interface, comprising the main Reception and Waiting Area, six OPDs, a three-bed ICU and a doctors’ lounge, enabling close coordination between consultation and emergency escalation.

The second floor includes a seven-bed dialysis ward and general wards, supporting day-care and inpatient treatment requirements.

The third floor accommodates HDU wards along with relatives’ accommodation, creating a transitional care environment that supports both patients and attendants.

The fourth and fifth floors are dedicated to shared and private patient rooms, establishing quieter inpatient zones separated from high-activity clinical departments. This separation enhances recovery conditions and improves overall patient experience.

The sixth floor functions as the principal procedural and surgical hub, comprising two major OTs, an Endoscopy OT, Cath Lab, pre- and post-Cath areas and recovery facilities, forming the core of advanced surgical and cardiac care within the hospital.

The seventh floor is allocated for hospital administration, ensuring operational oversight and management functions are vertically integrated within the facility.
