Multispecialty Hospital | Cardiac Care | Surgical & Critical Care

Located in Surat, Gujarat, United Green Hospital is a 100-bed multispecialty hospital developed for Dr. Samir Gami and Dr.HareshVastarpara within approximately 2,720sq.m. The hospital occupies a dedicated portion of a commercial complex, requiring healthcare functions to be efficiently integrated within the constraints of an existing mixed-use building. The project was completed in 2015.

AMRD’s planning approach focused on creating clear vertical zoning for emergency, outpatient, diagnostics, dialysis, inpatient care, critical care, surgery and cardiac services. Particular attention was given to integrating high-intensity hospital functions within a commercial building while maintaining appropriate departmental relationships and efficient patient movement.

The ground floor accommodates Emergency, pharmacy and ambulance parking, providing direct access for acute-care patients. The first floor includes reception and waiting, three OPDs, a five-bed dialysis unit, sample collection, pathology laboratory and Echo-TMT facilities. The second floor accommodates another reception and waiting area, a three-bed day-care unit and wards, while the third floor is dedicated to sharing and private patient rooms.

The fourth floor forms the principal critical-care zone with a 19-bed ICU, six-bed CT-ICU and private rooms.

The fifth floor accommodates the major surgical and cardiac intervention functions, including an OT complex with septic OT, Orthopaedic/Neuro OT, Endoscopy OT and Cardiac/Transplant OT, along with a Cath Lab, CSSD, biomedical waste management area and administration.

The project successfully brings together multispecialty care, dialysis, diagnostics, extensive critical care, advanced surgery and cardiac intervention within a vertically organised 100-bed hospital. United Green Hospital demonstrates AMRD’s approach to adapting a portion of a commercial complex into a comprehensive healthcare environment with strong functional zoning and specialised clinical infrastructure.
